- The research results of PhD student Moutushi Islam have been published in Journal of Cell Science. In this study, we developed a method to degrade GFP-tagged proteins and even untagged proteins using AID2 combined with single-chain antibodies. The paper was featured by JCS, and an interview article with Ms. Islam was also published.

- Research results by PhD students, Yuki Hatoyama and Moutushi Islam, were published in EMBO Reports. In this work, they developed degron technologies capable of independently degrading two different proteins and enhancing degradation efficiency. Using these methods, they also generated cells that skip DNA replication and enter mitosis directly. The announcement from NIG can be found here.
